Hi folks, sorry to bring this issue up again.
I had no probs finding and programming a flip key for my leon, but my missus has just bought a vw beetle and only has one key and want to get another
The code on her key is HLO 1JO 959 753 P which is the same as the Leon except the last letter!!
Not sure if i can buy a key from ebay with a different last letter or letters eg AH cos i cant find a key with a letter P at the end of the code.
I didnt have to reprogram the transponder in my key as took the one out of the spare non button key, but will have to match a new transponder to this one. Think i have a virgin one but how difficult is it to do with Vag-Com (got the lead coming next week and have the software but never used it)?
Any info or help will be appreciated.
Cheers all
PS i added this on the Key Problems Thread but thought that it would better to have its own thread just to know the letters that work or dont from peoples experiences.
My Bad if this is the wrong thing to do

cool thanks Stu, hers is a 3 button remote and wondering if i can use an AH key or if it has to be a P at the end of the code?

PS Sorry i have been drunk for the last few weeks so aint had the camera in my hand in case i drop it lol. Il PM you some pics of the bumper but if you look at the exhaust thread on her then Deans big turbo yellow cupra has the same bumper.

lol no worries, has been a drunken time of year :D

Hmm ive not known it to be P at the end only seen the AH and AG

I would asumme if you went for the 3 button AH key it would still work so long as you get the right frequency.. either 434 or 433
