It's taken me a while, but I fitted my 312mm Brakes this evening.

Still need to finish them off (ie bleed them) but it's dark

Minimal clearance, so hopefully will get a run out tomorrow to try them out... makes my 280's look dinky (and the old 239's even smaller)

Small bit of milling to fit the calliper bracket on & slightly modified brakes (to fit 4 stud)

Extreme tests tomorrow once bedded in I hope :D

Hi Sean

These are Stock Leon Cupra / Audi TT Brakes that I'd slightly modified.

The kit for the Golf 2 is the same, but you'll need different hoses made up

312's on your Cordy? Sh1t the bed...

Just got to secure the flexi/rigid connection, bleed them (i'll be pikey and do the fronts as it's raining & I didn't let it drain)

Then I'll take some better pics than the ones I did in the dark last night

I do need to clean them! It's winter tho.

Glyn - they feel fine (as fine as bedding in Jurids can feel)

Master Cylinder is already pretty big, so that's OK (so far)

not hammered them yet as a) it's wet b) the ABS is off but they will lock up if pushed hard

I guess it's to do with the relationship between the diameter (and deflection) of the master cylinder and diameter and required deflection of the piston (or pistons) in the caliper. If caliper piston diameter is roughly the same and pads don't sit miles further away from the disc than stock then I guess it'll be ok.

Redrilled the 5 studs (which were 10 stud already) so i only needed to get 2 holes put in.

milled 5mm off the back of the calliper brackets & bolted it on.

slight modification to the connection with the rigid pipe, but all on & working :)

Will bleed it properly when I have a willing helper
