Right looks like i need to get a new Lambda sensor.

Question is do i have to buy the seat one or can i use a generic. Does anyone know how many wires they have and what type they are? i believe there are 2 types Zirconia sensors and Titania sensors.

cheers col

You would be better getting the genuine seat ones.Aftermarket ones are never as good IMO

What makes you say that, do you think seat make them? ..... or do you think that probably bosch or a similar company do? ;) ;)

generic as in splice in one... vs bosch plug in ones... go for Bosch one same model as you remove not generic IMHO. (for pre cat one)

The Pre Cat Lamda sensor was f**ked. Kept going into limp mode and was overfueling even though fault was saying it was running lean.

Changed the plugs as they were coked up, prob as a result of the above.

back to 30 MPG again now:D
