Hi all,

Had the engine check light come on whilst driving today so on arrival home plugged in the scanner and revealed

PO136 - O2 sensor circuit malfunction, Bank 1 Sensor 2

Having checked the second lambda sensor i found a dry connection and 2 wires broken.

So my question is anyone know the best place to source a new one??

Cheers Andy

if its just the wiring, cut the ends and join them (bypass the connector), I had a couple of spades break off in the connecting housing and instead of forking out the 70 quid or whatever for a new one. works fine now.

Personally, i would only use genuine parts when it comes to electrical components, had bad experiences with a MAF from Euros.
If its the front, i have one i used for testing. Genuine VW part

Nice thought except its the other end  where the wires come directly out the probe i think the heat has cracked the outer case and dried out the wires inside.
