i;ve just changed the very same one on my 51 plate, the old one reads

021 906 262 and under that 0 258 007 057/058 proper bosch one. i got my replacement from gsf for 64 notes with the mention of e38 discount scheme. u need to be a member on there tho, think they're 70 notes normally.

Sorry to hijack the thread but didn't want to open another one for a simpleish question. I have been having ongoing problems with my car and without spending more money I want to see if these problems are related to the lamda sensors. I have a LCR and my brother has a fr+ diesel wondering if the lamda sensors in this could be tried in my car. Does the diesel one even have these sensors..

Thanks,
Ryan

hi ryan, get someone with vag com to check it, its gonna bring a code up telling u which sensor is faulty if its a lambda, and no, i'd say for sure the lambda probes for a diesel will be different to a petrol so non compatible. i have a vag com scanner which reads and clears fault codes, cheap enuff off ebay now, and told me exactly the fault and cleared it after i'd changed the part. job done

If you're Lambda is gone/going you would have your engine management light on by now.

Mine management light comes on but its to do with a cat not efficient in back 1 code or something, I have VAG COM and i keep clearing it as the code seems to be sports cat related and I think this is whats on the car.
