An expensive month for me with the car:(

Just bought the following from ECP:

front discs (ATE powerdiscs)
front pads (with W.I)
arb bushes
wheel bearing kit

Set me back £172 including the SCN discount, which is more than I'd like to have to fork out, but a pretty good price for the parts.

The main problem is that I have no time to fit the parts myself so will have to get a garage to do them for me.

Can anyone suggest some reasonable labour times that the bits above would warrant, just so I don't get shafted? I know the discs and pads would take me about 4 hours, but that's mainly because I'm really slow and never have all the tools to hand when I start the job! I'd hope a garage would be a little quicker...

Any estimates would be appreciated.:)

Dealer should quote about 1.5 hours for discs and pads.
The bushes should be about 0.7, the wheel bearings 0.5

Labour rate in SE London would be well over £70/hour I guess. I would definately look for a good independant garage where the rate should be closer to £50
