Hi guys, i want to lower my car a little bit so it sits closer to the wheel. i heard that its ok to lower with standard shocks, so im thinking of getting just springs. what size springs should i get? 40mm? and where is best place to get them from?

cheers guys

oh ok then, yeah ill have to give damian a ring tomorrow. so with the 40mm springs only giving around 20mm drop, can you stil notice it has been dropped a bit?

also i am ok to go ahead and put the KW springs on standard LCR shocks arent i?

yeah you get a 20-25mm drop. The springs say 40mm and cater for all leons but bear in mind an LC is 10mm lower than any run of the mill leon and and LCR is 10mm lower again, hence 20mm ish' drop. Search for Nev LCR and view his project thread, he has 40mm KW springs only, this will give an idea of ride height and yes you will be fine on standard shocks.

Give us a shout if you'd like a price, we won't be able to do anything on just the springs but we should be able to do something on the postage.

Thanks,

It is always best to get matched springs and shocks but as said, with that mileage and a fairly small drop, your standard shocks should be fine.
