KO3s silenced & unsilenced , the difference ?

Does anyone know the difference between a KO3s silenced and the unsilenced version , also if there are differences which is best ?

Without sounding dumb, ( i can't believe i'm asking this ) but can you hear the silenced one at all???

there aint much difference, although apparently the flow is better on an unsilenced. I get a good whistle with just a panel filter

I've heard that it's more difficulty to bold on a silenced one.
Why I don't know

i had an un silenced one on my ibiza and Jim at star was havin probs controlling boost when mapped it and kept spiking. gave a good spool up noise sounded great

IMO your not going to feel the difference on the road between a silenced or unsilenced one.

the stainless heat shield that goes above the mani and the cloth one that wraps around the charge pipe/turbo outlet

well thats bollocks ... coz i managed to get the heat sheild back on ... i remember it being abit of a twat but have to put the heat shield on first then bolt the turbo up, and the cloth also is back on mine

Excellent , the reason i asked is i've got hold of a A&M reconditioned unsilenced KO3S !

Best order a downpipe while i'm at it , saves cutting my knuckles twice !

Mine is also an A&M (unsilenced) Had no probs.
