right its my first post on here so hey all!!! im picking up my ibiza cupra 2moz so well excited, thing is i want to know roughly what bhp it is as the chap has never had it rolling roaded, it has a miltek full exhaust system, miltek manifold and sports cat, air filter, ko3s, front mount intercooler, both bypasses done, stage one at jabba and stage 2 custom map at revo, the guy said wen he first picked it up it was running 2 bar of boost! now running 20 psi, whats the maximum boost i can run on this setup as i want as much power as i can get lol, he said at 2 bar it kept blowing the intercooler pipes off lol!is it safe to run 2 bar? cheers in advance! Never heard of a miltek manifold and it cannot have a stage one at jabba and stage 2 custom map at revo only one or the other. Revo stage 2 isnt custom either just tweekable via sps. Dont think it would have been running 2 bar of boost unless something was wrong, its not safe. 20psi is more like it. Probably about 220-240bhp if its all been done right and has all the supporting mods but you havent mentioned a tip or uprated dv and it contradicts itself abit so it might not have been. Ask to see receipts for parts.

sorry whats a tip??? he didnt say a miltek manifold i just though it would be a miltek if everything else was miltek lol, he sed wen he picked it up it was running 2 bar, bloke had wound it up apparently, 1whats the most boost i can run, has a baileys rc dump valve, made me think now whether to get it or not!he didnt do ne of the mods he brought it done by a vw tech and couldny remember the exact spec, ran a 14.3 1/4 mile with printout if that helps?cheers for the quick reply mate!

can you not manualy adjust the actuator on these? ive gone from a tb'd 106 GTi and have no idea about seats! what boost can u run safely in them then?and what bhp will i expect with the mods??? i k now i sound like a noob but im no turbo expert, every one started out knowing nothing, Dan

Will be on probably be on the standard mani or maybe a JBS mani if your lucky or ATP mani if you are not. You can adjust the actuator on them but I would imagine at 2bar it would be too far out of boost deviation and go into limp. Wouldnt want to run more than 20 0r 21psi max really. See what receipts for what parts and work are with the car and get the fullest spec list you can for it. Power wise its probably 220-240bhp if its all working ok and has been done properly like I said.

cheers mate!its making me wonder now if he is telling the truth..... hopefully he is, got to drive to bloody scotland 2moz from birmingham!so with those mods what else would i have to do to achieve 260?

Your not going to get 260bhp without going for a hybrid k03s with injectors, maf, uprated exhaust mani etc or going for a k04-023 which is even more. 260bhp is going to probably be £1500 minimum.
