and ko3s want to upgrade is it easy to modifyany of thes and which is best?

Have a search mate there is loads of threads on this, but basically :-

KO3 - U have
KO3S - bolts straight on
KO4 - requires further fitment, oil lines etc + supporting mods for the power u can run.

Go0 for a proper KO4, KO3/S Hybrids will never reach the power of a proper KO4 as they are limited by their size. RobbieC's car being the exception of course. Just my 2p

wrong!
k03/4 hybrid has more potential as its stock manifold flows more than k04 setup
turbo for turbo they end up the same thing, given the internals ARE k04 on the hybrids

most k03/4 hybrids flow 220g/s region, k04's 200g/s on equivalent maps
easiest cheapest is k03/4 hybrid route
keep your downpipe, oil & water lines, tip (if silicon)
just add 225 injectors and 80mm maf housing and map to suit

I stand corrected, thought i read something on here saying that a ko3hybrid will not flow to more than a standard ko4 as its a smaller turbo? But your right Bill:clap:

So i take it that the standard manifold is the limiting factor on the ko4 setups over the ko3hybrids? That is until someone brings out an uprated ko4 manifold?

yep.. k04's manifold is significantly smaller runners than even an oe k03 one. whoever gets one to market first should do well

ina or jbs etc
