I am gettting a knocking noise at between 1000rpm and 1500rpm as i only notice it when i am pulling away and when the car has been sat still for a while eg over night, i also noticed earlier when there is a drain on the power eg air con at idle cold start. It is more noticalbe when pulling away especially in reverse. I thought it could be something loose so i have had a look and cant see anything, any suggestions???

Where is it coming from?
Engine, or is it steering? I had a knocking noise every time i went up and down from my driveway and it was due to the drivers side ball joint being worn. I got it replaced and all is fine now, no more knocking!
Cold start problem is probably due to the black temperature sensor you will have fitted! It should be changed for a green sensor! Has it being bleeping at you early morning yet?
I know a symptom for the black sensor is trouble with cold starts. I do believe SEAT changed it to the green sensor for the 225 cars, i think its only the 210 cars that have the black sensor?
Or it maybe something totally different
