Knackered Climate Control Screen

Hi Guys,

I've been viewing the forum since I brought by Seat Leon Cupra 1.8T, 03 plate, in Feb this year but now really need your help!! I love the car but...

A couple of weeks ago my Climate Control screen broke, the LCD screen has 'split' and there is a black half circle which is slowly spreading across the screen from right to left and taking over. I currently can;t see half the controls. I have just been told that the aftermarket RAC warranty that came with the car does NOT cover it , so not happy.

I was thinking of buying one off of e-bay but don't know if it would work in my car?? And secondly how easy it would be to fit (I'm not very mechanically minded)?

Your help really would be appreciated as the local Stealer (Humphries of Oxford) quoted me £530 to sort the problem.

Here's hoping one of you can give me a light at the end ofthe tunnel...

I just sold one of these on ebay, wasnt perfect but screen was 100% i may be able to get my hands on another tomorrow!!! Any climate panel will fit as the connections are all the same.

I'd be very interested in that!!! How much? And would you be selling it through ebay?

I could sort something out for you off e bay, let me check the unit first, i dont want to get you hopes up and it turns out to me a duff unit.
