Yeah loving it mate... certainly turns heads... :D

Might have a decat... which i think will spell the end of my clutch but who knows... i want it Decatted before May so i can slowly get the cat flanged at my own pace lol.

If i dont get the decat April is a "little things" month... like the glovebox, the jacking point cover and that :)

Nice example, Klone - I like what you have done with your Cupra.

I have been trying to track down some decent photos of the mk1 Leon Cupra with the Milltek exhaust, couldn't find any! Don't suppose you have any close up pics of the tail pipes and a good square on view from the back? How do you rate the Milltek cat-back system?

Thanks buddy :)

I can certainly grab a pic tomorrow. The only downside is it's not hanging right. The previous owner had it mounted in such a way so it didn't catch the floor as it was scrapping. It's currently at an angle. But by all means il grab a pic :)

As for the milltek I love it. It's got a nice rumble to it and doesn't sound chavtastic at all. I get pops from it due to the remap etc but all helps add to the image.

I had a friend who has an ST comment tonight how nice it sounds just for a cat back too. Couldn't be happier!!

Thanks mate - any photos will be appreciated. I literally couldn't find a single picture of a Leon Cupra with the Milltek twin tail pipe exhaust.

The exhaust was catching the floor...? Sounds interesting, has the car been lowered then?

I have read up a lot about exhausts for the Cupra, most people saying that Supersprint is the one to go for. However, I'm more familiar with Milltek and would like to keep the twin tailpipes if they suit the car / bumper.

Are you still debating the de-cat? That would go down well with the re-map - pretty sure that AMD offer a map that eliminates the engine management light problem? What map are you running atm?

yeah its angled funny i will get a pic later on if i can... works a bit mad at the moment.

I've only ever had scorpion exhausts before, but after reading up on them, when i bought the car i wanted to make sure it had a milltek.

I am 100% going to Decat, its just a case of when now... i want to get a 3" downipe with it too.

Im either going to get the EML mapped out or get the spacer to stop it...

Im running a stage 1 Revo mate... 210bhp :)

i am reasonably happy... the pictures pay it more credit than it's due if im honest... it does need a little bit of love, which i will get over the summer.

I have been looking into engine swaps this morning... whoops! haha.

I have always loved the Leon, and this one was exactly what i wanted when i bought it... just need to keep adding to it :)

i think it's because its my car and i'm never happy with my car.

off the top of my head it needs:

Decat
Rear Interior Light (Broken)
Jacking Point cover (stolen!)
various bits respraying
a service
Strut Brace fitting
Wheels refurbing
rear mud flaps fitting
short shift doing.

and thats without me even paying much attention! hehe :)

i will be updating as i go of course :)

I know what you mean mate - you always feel that there is something to be done...

Whats wrong with the rear courtesy light? I have notied my near side rear light only works when it wants to, haven't really looked at it yet tho...

Any luck with the photos? Sorry to hassle you.

The connector is broken mate... so its just sitting there. I used to have that problem... the bulb had come loose :(

I've emailed loads of people on ebay and they all reply.. but then when i ask to buy it they go quiet! sods.

I tried to get a picture yesterday, but with the tailpipe SO dirty... you cant even see it! haha. i will try and get one today mate :)

I see - was hoping it would be a quick fix, thats alright then.

I would get down to a breakers yard mate... Thinking I might go grab a few bits this weekend. Just ripped the standard head unit and 6 disc changer out and need the storage box that replaces the CD changer in the glove box...

Cheers man!

the breakers near me (within 20miles) dont seem to have any Vags in at the moment :( and moneys a bit tight to be driving further afield.

I need the storage box for the glovebox too, as i have an uprated sound system and the cd changer is in the boot hehe

Where abouts are you? I drive past a couple of breakers to get to work so not too bad for me. The glove boxes in the Leon are sourced from the old Audi A3 so I am hoping it will be pretty easy to grab one?

I can't post URL's but type in 'Golf reading light' on eBay, isn't that what you need? New part for just over £30 delivered...

Was it an easy job fitting your sounds? I was considering leaving the standard setup and just upgrading the head unit for iPod connectivity and better sound. Not sure if I can be bothered to pull the interior apart to run the cables etc...

im in essex mate... clacton on sea to be exact.

i need a new glovebox locking mech aswel... Seat do a "fixing kit" for £30 so i keep meaning to get that.

yeah thats the light, can actually get them for £15 on ebay.. but im being tight fisted and want it for less! haha

the sound system wasnt too bad actually... takes a while to get the cable from the front to the rear... but don't all cars?

i need to get some ground loop isolators now, because im being up alternator whine :(

I don't know the area at all matey - got family in Brentwood but other than that don't know Essex.

The fixing kit sounds ok mate, good to know about too, thanks.

£15 new?? Thats pretty good mate, considering you have the ultrasonics for the alarm and that...

Hmmm... I want to focus on the simple performance mods and the aesthetic bits then might try to get some sounds sorted. I have only had the car for a month and since I got it it's been off the road for cambelt and service bits. Hoping to put it on the road ASAP!!!
