It's sickening how often this is happening to cars from this forum alone. What sort of retards do we have to share the world with?!

Gutted for you man.

I'd have their hands chopped off and the bare and bloody stumps dipped in salt and vinegar!!!! I don't know what drives people to do this, when i was a little tearaway we never actually caused physical damage to property - we'd not have dreamt of it ... then again when i was a lad you knew you'd get two thick ears, one from the copper and one from your dad when they brought you home!

salt and vinegars a little extreme? you gonna eat them?
very true though... got up to alsorts but never even thought of attacking anothers property??? more interested in pinching apples off the vicars trees.:ban:

mind you theres a general lack of respect out there with cars... went to the supermarket the other day.. car park 2/3rds full ...i followed this audi tt and parked next to it (i`ll park anywhere!)
as i was walking away i turned to look back, yep i do it too, and it suddenly dawned on me id parked as far from the shop as i could together with a 911 that took up two spaces, the tt, a jag and a r32 golf.
there were clear spaces around this little group.
coming back to the car now in a foul mood i counted 3 people bashing the cars next to them [:@] not even looking, kids leaping about in the back so the open door could rub up and down the next car.

even "nice" people dont care these days:(

keying is just plain nasty. :censored:

Yeah I see this often - the annoying thing is other people will see it happen to our cars as well!

Its just a fact of life with a car - if you buy one and as we do treasure them you have to try to not let it eat you up inside when they get dented by car doors. I always try to park in the safest place well away from the mainstream traffic but it does not matter where you park, it will still happen. The :censored: out there.

Loads of people having this happen, recently.

Most seem to be in the North... hooray for Essex.

Not sure I'd be able to keep my cool if I came out to a keyed-up car one morning. Heads would roll.

Why is it I look at a nice car and think "damn, that's a nice car - I'd like to own something like that some day" and some people look at one and think "I'll never have that nice car so I must damage it"?

Doesnt this just make you feel sick. We had it done to both of our cars on the same night a few years back, before we moved to where we live now which is thankfully much quieter and a cul-de-sac. At the time the cars were our pride and joy (cant remember what they were now lol), but thankfully ours were at the end of the row and the little **** who had done it must have started the other end and let the pressure off by the time he got to ours. Most of it t-cut out, but the people at the start of the row werent so lucky, and some were pretty new cars at the time. Just some pathetic little get walking down the street thinking he was clever with nothing better to do.

Dont know what id do if it happened now, but would certainly be more than gutted. Sorry you've had to fork out for this, too bad there's no way to claim criminal compensation when you can see its clearly been done on purpose. Guess you wont be parking there again for too long! Was yours the only car done? If so probably some jealous kid with a very sad life!!

I pulled the old type aerial off our own car when was 4, dont know why but i do know that it was damn sore after i had done it! Sorry to hear this. There are some twats out there. i live in Belfast during the week for uni and go home on Fridays, constantly looking out the window to heck on the car andi t just about standard, panic attacks if cant get parked in eye shot too! Came out last night and some arse had pulled bins from the allyway and were right up against the front of it! Police will do nothing for you unless you have picture or video evidence, or catch them red handed and cal police out with them there and offending tool of choice, (a beating first would do before police arrived).

Little scroates. i had it done to one of my escorts a few years back right across the bonnet. Just jealosy cos my car looked good - Met blue with Cosworth Style 5 spokes on it. Couldnt even afford to fix it at the time cos i was a bit skint which made it even worse.

In a way though mate, its not all that bad. You'll have some nice fresh paint to polish and take pics of, and you may as well be cheeky and ask for any bit of colour coding you want doing while the paint is in the gun, always works for me ;)

I agree though, they need punishing the little f*ckers!!!!

Happened to me a few years ago on my Honda at the time, noticed one morning it was keyed, then the next night, so I stayed up the following night and watched this guy key my car and then cross over the road and go in his house.

I called out the police, they called on him but they couldn't do anything at the time as he was drunk and advised me it was my word against his, so the next day I went over there and told him what I had seen, and what I would do, and he paid for the repairs.

I guess I was lucky to find the culprit.

I am very paranoid about where I park my Lexus, it has no rubbing strips and what looks like very expensive paint work. I won't take my 928 anywhere unless I can watch over it where it is parked or is in secure parking.
