key in ignition warning

hey guys can anyone tell me if the warning buzzer that comes on when you leave the key turnned on in the ignition be turned off. its really annoying when you get out of the car with the engine running to open the gate etc. wouldnt be so bad if it just came on whenthe engine was off or something like that!

Mine doesn't buzz if the engine is running!

figured it out! i had the clock set to 12 hour via vagcom usa setting and that was causing it!! i hate 24 hour clock but hate the buzzing more!!!

yup they can be set
1 - "EU" 24 hour clock (may result in odometer in km in 2002+ clusters)
2 - "USA" 12 hour clock
3 - "Canada" 12 hour clock (may result in odometer in km in 2002+ clusters)
4 - "UK" 24 hour clock (should result in odometer in miles)
5 - Japan
6 - Saudi Arabia
7 - Australia
