Dont seem to have heard the definitive gain in BHP & torque by fitting a cat-back Milltek exhaust.

Just checked some old threads, didnt seem too helpful, as alot have replacement cats, dowmpipes etc.

Got a remap on the car, and now, wondered if anyone has had rolling road tests of before & afters??

Anyone??

The consensus is that the cat back is merely for sound and looks, there are no BHP gains to be had, thats where the sports cat and downpipe come in.

Full system with no remap gives 10bhp. Most of that gain will be down to the downpipe.

Mine jumped from 257bhp to 267bhp with a Carbonio and Full Milltek (same rolling road).

I would love to see the gain that an intake alone would give to the Cupra. I am willing to bet that the likes of a Dbilas would give as much gain on a stock car as a Full Exhaust would although I have never seen any proof of it. The OEM air intake is very restrictive.
