K1 has Landed!

My new K1 has arrived home and yes its candy white!
Pleased to be back in a SEAT had a Cupra R before and a safe SAAB in between.
Just need to rack up a few miles before I can open her up.
Just one question : driving it home from the garage they was quite a noticably burning smell, and the odd puff of blue smoke from the exhaust. That was a couple of days ago and all seems fine now after 100 miles I have put it down to burning off factory oil. Has anyone else noticed it?
Oh and it arrived with a IPOD connecter I hadn't ordered!!

Where can I get some Black/red trimmed mats that will fit over the clips?

have fun. wish i wasnt 18 then i could perhaps think of getting one!! 1.4 turbo for me haha. still blummin insane insurance wise! search for custom car mats on google, normally brings up some good sites that you can choose colour on etc.

No body kit issues here, I was originally told mid October due to the factory shut down but turned up last week.

Hello JF,

I got my K1 in June, took it very steady back from the dealer on that Saturday morning, including 8 miles of dual carriageway. as I approached & lifted off, I too had a plume of blue smoke.. has uses a little oil, and had 5K miles on it now. Didnt seem to affect it & I beleive it to have been the "newness" of the engine & maybe a little oil or grease burning off.

The smoke coming out of the exhaust will just be the fact that it's new mate, mine did the exact same thing. Great car and colour choice aswell
