as said nope.
if you want std fitment but k04+ power, go hybrid..
by far the best bolt on upgrade for high 200bhp figures

yes the manifold will fit onto your block but not onto the turbo.

A k04 turbo will not fit your manifold. If you want to fit a k04 you need to get a k04 manifold which will fot your block. You also need a few other things to make it fit and work and its not cheap so a k03 hybrid is a better option.

if you do want a k04 and find a suitable setup make sure you get both oil lines and the water pipe setup , if your missing these they are expensive at the dealer so factor that in when pricing up different setups thats for the k04-023 as i have done this conversion

A k04 023 is the turbo which people mostly refer to as a k04 and comes on 1.8t engine that have 210/225bhp so some audi tt, audi s3 and leon cupra r basically. They are good for upto 280bhp.

A k04 001 is basically a k03s, which is a later develped k03 turbo which has slightly larger inlet. They are standard borg warner turbos and are not as big as k04 023 turbos and cannot produce as much power with a max of about 240bhp for both k04-001 and k03s.

i take it your looking at buy a car with one fitted? be careful, ive seen a few cars for sale trying to pass there ko4 001 as a 023 car quoting the turbo was from a lcr when actually its a 001 turbo.

the 023 turbo exhaust housing exits very differently to the ko4 001, this exits the same as the ko3/ko3s you will be able to see this when looking down the back of the engine, also if its a ko4 023 car it would need 225 injectors 3inch maff tube lcr tip custom dp, these are the bits you would be able to see
