just ordered my k03s turbo fitting kit and oem tip but wots the difference with the k03s when it can be silenced/unsilenced? any help would be great

i've often wondered that too,mate. where did you get the ko3s from? thinking about getting one in the new year but modifying garages are few and far between in the south coast,well trustworthy ones anyway!

As I recall it's a chamber (approx 70mm dia.) at the top of the compressor tube before the first rubber hose (90 deg. bend). It acts like an exhaust silencer and deadens the turbo whistle. The unsilenced turbo is just a straight tube from the compressor.
