K03s to k04 whats involved

Thinking about gettin a ko4 turbo from the aud tt/s3 but whats involved in gettin to work, im guessing change in injectors,manifold, remap what else and how much does all this rougly cost

downpipe & turbo outlet pipe I imagine too.

compression ratio is lower on the 210/225 engine

Been looking at my signature?

The kit I'm looking at has:
K04 turbo,
compressor inlet O-ring,
four exhaust studs,
manifold to turbo gasket,
turbo to downturn gasket.

£1800 inc fitting and the dreaded VAT

And an extra couple of hundred quid for the remap

This kit is a straightfoward turbo swap according to their website

Power figures 245hp/275lb-ft on 98 octane

With remap looking at around 280bhp I think

speak to regal, thewy do a conversion DIY kit and all you need to source is the Turbo. Think the conversion kist was £1200.

guys i said DIY ocnversion, they just supply the bits, which are all from other suppliers!!!!

There are two k04.
K04-01 which fits in stock manifold and gives around 10hp and 30nm without remaping, and with bigger injectrors maf from s3 foul exhaust system 2.5" inlet and remapping around 25-30hp with 40nm.
The other k04-023, k04-022 its the same, from S3 where you will need s3 manifold or custom one s3 ingectros and maf, foul exhaust system 2.5" inlet oil and water tubes and remapping .With this setup depending on remappin you will expect 270-290 hp with 380-400nm.
