Just got hold of a K03s.



Intercooler to find now, then mapping and i'm there.

Not a gem like that.

It was the one on ebay. Came with the standard TIP which has saved £45 odd though.

Got it for £205.

how much is the Ko3s tip to buy from the dealer?

The FMIC is a must, i noticed a big differance and that is with a KO3, also if you havent already i HIGHLY recomend the 3"DP and sports cat, again i noticed a big differance after fitting that.

I think yearly next year there is going to be a flood of KO3s'd ibizas around.

My mate's a mechanic, so i've access to his 4 post lift and workshop.....which is nice

Yeah, on the lookout for an intercooler aswell. Might go down the Renault Laguna intercooler route....we'll see though.

Got the 2.5" Milltek DP and CAT mated to 2.5" Supersprint Race System. Noticed a hooge difference when i fitted the DP. Car's not chipped but it revs so much freer to the redline with the larger DP.

Good luck minty, when fitting my DP it realy put me off doing any engine stuff, i think im guna save up and get someone to do it for me should get it done for around £200

I was gonna go the laguna route but I might go for a custom intercooler now. It was £132 for the laguna intercooler brand new and after the samco hoses and pipework it goes to £250 so long as you fit it yourself. dunno what to do.

I'll be doing it myself (worked for Audi) but your lucky having access to a 4 post lift, it would be a lot easier for me to do it that way.

But fingers crossed it 'should' all go well.

Put the DP and exhaust on myself. The DP was fiddly, but was doable. Wouldn't have attempted it though if i hadn't of had access to the lift.

why does everyojne go on about using a lift? you do 90% of the work form under the bonnet!

Would the K03s turbo be ok with a stage 1 REVO remap??

yes mate! well ive got it done to mine but i dont really rate the k03s, not what i expected!
