K&N panel filter???

Hi guys

Just wanting some advise from you all!!! i am concidering getting a K&N panel filter for my LCR 225, not interested in induction kit or anything like that. Wanting to know is K&N any good??? i hear that the oil can ruin the MAF, is this true? and can anyone recommend anything better?

K&N are good filters - but a lot of people go for green cotton.

I started off the a K&N and ended up changing the maf twice due to it being pre-soaked in oil. Iv now got a pipercross and have had no problems

HMM!!! the K&N sounds like its not very popular with it being pre-oiled and ruining the maf think i might go for green cotton as reading other threads on here it seems the best choice. And can somone please tell me what this smoothing airbox thing is??

You smooth out all the ridges inside the airbox, it makes the air flow smoother, You will also benifit from replaceing the O/E feed pipe with a 3" feed pipe
