i've jus bought a mk4 ibiza and i'm wondering if anyone has fitted an induction kit to theirs and if you have can you post pics up, im just wanting to see how it all goes together and trying to get my head around a couple of things,
Mine's a 130 tdi. Was really easy to fit. I know you have to cut the engine covers on the smaller engined petrols because their air intakes are different to mine.
i have steered away from putting an induction kit on mine and opted for replacing the air intake for a cupra one and changing the panel filter. i think there is also a couple of mods you can do to the air box too but in not sure what they are, I'm sure there will be a thread somewhere here that will help you though.
I dont think there is any difference on the TDi. A PD 160 intake and green panel filter is the best you could do on the diesel. Petrol engine is a complete different story...where the increase in air flow makes a huge improvement.
