Just serviced the Cupra for a great price!

I've just put new back brake discs & pads and oil & filter on/in my mk4 ibiza cupra for the grand total of £60

The girlfriend's brother inlaw is a mechanic so I got the parts at cost price
£14.99 for the oil instead of £36 it should retail at

You must be in a 1.8T then as 506.01 PD oil costs a lot more than that, even at cost!

Yep its a 20VT. I've also found out that I've got a coolant leek from someware so I'll have to investigate that sometime next week

check the joins to the rad (unions) the clips are a lil crap if removed and replaced.

Yea, thanks rash. I sure its coming from that side (right hand side as you look at the car from the front) as it looks like there hase been something redish has been dripping down to near the bottom of the rad.
