Just saved 300 notes on my insurance

Well, I'm a bunny that's happy today. Got a phone call from a very nice man at the AA (who I've got my recovery with), renewel quote from existing ins company was £890, didn't tell the AA that obviously!!

AA took my details and came up with £589 fully comp, same xs etc etc. with AXA insurance.

Result or what!!!

I bet if you told your existing Insurer that youve had an alternative quote, they will come back cheaper still, and so starts the merry go round.

Good feeling indeed......... went back to existing insurer though Empi5 and there answer was "we don't price match", my answer "more fool you lot then!!"

If you have, have you tried privilege. My insurance for my Cupra (before i modified it) was about £450 fully comp with all the extras (except breakdown 'cos i had SEAT recovery).

Try the company your currently with using a slightly different same, ie Matt to Matthew...

Its amazing what happens when they think your a new customer!

I used to be with more than, but when I got the cupra they said "we don't insure anyone under 30 on a car like that"



Changed to Churchill who are good (£400 fully comp 26y/o with 5y NCD)

Used to be with privilege a while back and they were reasonably priced too, and unlike most companies they actually answer the phone quick, only left them because they wouldn't let me drive other cars on the policy at the time (which churchill do!!)
