Re: 2004 Leon Cupra TDI

My speed sensor isn't working since I had a new gearbox fitted (hopefully getting rectified this weekend) which I know about.

But my problem is that the old excess pollution light is lit but no faults are being logged. Also, there seems to be quite a lot (more than normal) of greyish smoke coming out of exhausts when I put foot down.

Any ideas? Bearing in mind it is the free version and that I'm not that clued up on Vag Com and it capabilities.

Any help much appreciated.

Think I read something about taking car for a drive at 60mph for 10 mins or something to burn off the soot etc in the exhaust. It maybe all u need to do to stop the smoking.
