Just put a deposit on an LC

So, Ive sold my Corrado 24v, and have bought an LC. I know its nowhere near the C performance wise, and doesnt sound anywhere near as good, but it doesnt come a bad runer up. Its also nicer than a Goof, and better value for money than an A3.

Its a 2003, 66k, one owner, fsh, ecellent nick but some small scratches here and there nothing a good polish wont sort though.

I got it quite cheap too, so it means I have some money to play with it, though I may just keep it standard for a while.

What you all reckon anyway?

Well if it doesnt then you can, for £5800 mate. Its not just any old C, its a one of only 3 in the UK with a 24v 2.8 V6 4motion transplant. Its got 234 BHP too

Might be a bit rich for me though as I'm after a second car that I'll only want to use sometimes - like a MK1 GTi.....

Ahhh the facelift model...good choice
Simple mods: Rear Wiper, Forge 007p Recirc-DV, (Revo - bit more expensive but worth it), Pannel filter or go all out on a full induction with CAI.
If you like the look of the LCRs single oval exhausr, you can't go wrong with a supersprint replica

Remap your LC..........Dump valve.........Lower..........18/19 inch rims and then you will be ****ing cuffed you got the LC

I didnt buy a new house, that was last year

However, those pics were taken outside the current owners house, I still havent paid the full amount and collected it yet.

I will be making some mods, over time but I like the look of it standard, so will probably go OEM+ like my Corrado. The Leon sort of reminds me of the C, with the way the hatch is designed, and the whole shape is quite nice so why spoil it?

Think a remap may come first

Put it this way, I havent seen a decent 2003 model for less than £7k, and I paid less than £6k

That's alot of car for the money. Good buy there mate.

I would uprate the DV and get rid of the crap std one. Maybe a nice Panel filter like a Green Cotton version and get a remap. But then I like it subtle.
