Dear All,

My CupraR is finally fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 all round after the rears which were the orginal Pzero are not legel. After driving 13 miles, and with the new rubber on the front axles, rear rubber is Eagle F1 but 5000 miles worn. I can't feel much improvement.

Pzero lasted 23,000 miles and 3.6 years. Paid £ 104 including fitting per tyre from Bracknell Tyres. Excellent Place.

Regards.

you put a thumbs up on the thread title, but state no improvement in the post? I'm confused as to your actual opinion of this change, but nm - most people love em, and if you don't then i'm sure you will when they bed in! :)

I'd scrub them in on the front for a few hundred miles then swap them to the back, wet and dry they are superb.......I remember driving a demo LCR from a local dealer with Pirelli's on (my car was on F1's) it was night and day different

I just got a pair put on the front after my PZero's lasted 10700 miles. The difference is huge! They grip so well. I've still got pzero's on the back as they're still very legal... so far so very amazing I say.

btw, my mate told me to go to bracknell tyres as I work in Reading, I went instead to Micheldever near where I live... £238 for two!! fitted, balanced and had my alignment done. bugger.

Put the goodyears onto the back, and the pirelli's onto the front (as recommended by vehicle manufacturers, tyre manufacturers, Bob down the pub... new tyres to the rear for safety ;)) before you spin the car!!

Also, means you'll get the Goodyears all around sooner!!
