Hi Peeps,

Got vag.com and wandered what are the best blocks to log to test my new boost.....make sure its making it and what kind of level its boosting at etc?

Any particular blocks that would be interesting to post up?

Cheers

block 003 to show maf values, 115 to show actual vs requested boost and 118 to show intake temps and wg duty

depending on your laptop u might want to do 1 or 2 blocks at a time to get the best sample rate.

remember 1500-7000rpm

having an issue with surging actually...

had a new maf back in November...

just took it for a run (not loggin - been to footy) and when in fourth or fifth and you floor it..... sometimes it will surge, no boost there and then suddenly boost...

it did this before the mapping....so i know its not necessarily that......

when you installed the usb cable, windows should have created a virtual serial port for it? what port is the usb cable on? You vag only read Ports 1,2,3,4.

Its set to port 3 or com 3 not usb no option for that on the 409.1 software.

How much does it cost to register ?

Is there not another way?

Costs $99 to register, so about £50 at the moment. And no, there isn't another way. If you want the logging features and the full version of the software, you need to pay for it.
