Just had it fitted and WOW! the service was exellent we had the car up on the lift and we was both under it, the guy explained what he was going to do and any recomendations on my behalf.

What was done!

- Full system with larger bore
- Pipework and some box in the middle was raised to stop scraping as the cars very low
- Re-conditioning of my magnex backbox, cleaned and refitted.
- Louder middle section to give a deeper tone
- Fixing the back beam rattle on idle
- Lifetime warranty rust proof

I can confirm the tone is deeper and sounds very nice, i went over a bump and it didnt scrape and guess wot no exhaust rattle! I didnt see any bodge work after it was done. They took their time so no rushing and was about 3 hours and 20 minutes after a 1 hour cool down period.
A Total Cost £150 for the custom section + £35 for brackets and rear pipe to fix rattling.
Ive noticed it doesnt pull back on gear change, feels a lot better and babbles less. I also noticed the boost went to 22 and dropped to 20 as before it went to 20 and dropped to 18 not sure if its coincidence?
overall its exellent IMO

well its not the full system is it

sounds abit iffy to me. standard catalytic converters cost more than 150quid. sounds like they fobbed u off. cos most exhausts have atleast one lambda sensor so its nothing out of the ordinary.

still not a bad price at 185quid. thats if it lasts.

listening to performance gains from a simple cat back system is funny

why is it funny? ive noticed the car doesnt pull back / judder when i change gear when u get the wooshy sound. Also considering the bore is a lot bigger gives more breathing to the engine so im sure it would have some effect mate

fair enough friend

personally i dont see it that way, especially since the downpipe is flowing no more gasses than it was previously. this in turn would have no effect at all on boost pressure.

if you say it helps then i wont call you a lier, but i wont believe it either. im glad your happy with it.

cheers. maybe the boost increase is to do with the very cold weather we had but im definalty impressed with it, i had a full remus system on my astra coupe and it was a bit poo just made more noise really but well worth the £185 methinks

I had my powerflow cat-back made 2.5", must admit, the only difference i noticed was the fact that it wasnt blowing anymore.......then again, when i had it done it was completely standard so maybe i should shut up.
