Traction light comes on when MAF is dead. could have killed it when fitting the Dynatwist.

The engine light doesn't always come on when MAF is unplugged though

so it's definitely something up then, not just a consequence of fitting the dynatwist? It seems to drive fine, a bit less torque low down maybe but I assumed that was because of the induction kit.

no I don't :(

by the way, don't know if this is normal, but there is pretty much NO noise from the dynatwist, just hear a slight hiss of the turbo

also, do I just buy a new MAF and fit it, or do I need to get the faults cleared or something to get the lights to go away?

If it is the MAF, you can just buy one and plug it in. No need to clear codes, lights will go off soon after fitting.

they get noiser over the first couple hundred miles
if you did any of your install with MAF disconnected and ign on then yea you will have popped a code..
MAF is fragile so any knock can upset/damage them

good luck
