Just fitted a silver centre dash section in my 1.4

Was delivered this morning from Germany. Looks quite good and splits the mostly black and grey up nicely imo :)
Only took 15 mins to remove the old part and fit the new one :)

Don't look to bad to be honest. Shame the Aura unit breaks it up.
On a personal note, I don't like the mats, shiney metal mats dont do the Leon justice, they belong in a Corsa, Scooby or Nova.

What colour is that supposed to be? As long as you like it thats all that matters, but I think it looks rather odd and out of place.

Erm.....see title

Just fitted a silver centre dash section in my 1.4

Was very sunny in my area yesterday. The white balance on my K750 over exposed it a little.

There is a Leon that comes with this silver centre section from factory (FR or Cupra R with climate/double din dash facia's I think). This is the single din version for models with/without air con.

Right-oh smarty pants. In the list of threads, it doesn't have the word silver in it, and in youy picture it looks like something you have made from white sticky back plastic. Must have been from an FR, because thankfully there wasn't a Cupra R that was graced with a piece of trim that matches nothing else on the car.

Doesn't it ?? I did put it in. I remember doing it cos I went back in shortly after starting the thread to re edit the title.
Shows up on my girlfriends pc as silver.
Its a full pannel that has been replaced mate. Not a stick on kit which SEAT do also sell.
I'll get a pic up to show the 2 pannels as soon as I'm back home tomorrow to show its not a stick on kit.

the thread title hasnt changed (you don't have the permissions to do that I don't think) but the small subtitle on the first post has.

As for the trim, not my cup of tea, rather have it all blended in but each to their own and that - good on ya for doing something different :)

Oh, and as said above, get rid of those mats NOW! Don't embarass yourself any longer! Looks like the interior of a max power nova!

Thanks Pabs :)
Didn't your Leon have a different colour centre section origionally before you changed it and fitted you onboard computer ? Thought I noticed it in one of your guides.

Will be ordering some new mats today from SEAT. Think I've kept me girlfriend happy long enough by keeping them in the car for a week :p

A few more pics showing the facia before fitting and after fitting with the old black facia next to it. Also a couple of close up's.
