Just got a LEON 20VT Sport in Black

It has the former keepers surname under the number plates "Whateley"

was it someones on here?

I don't know much about LEON's i was looking for a A3 or Golf Turbo but stumbled across this and i'm glad i did!!

Have checked the engine code and luckily it is AUQ - so that is the K03s turbo - right?

Excellent just spoke to Chipped UK about a possible remap and they said they can get it to 235 BHP but wouldn't recommend it. They recommended going for the 225BHP map and this will improve fuel economy!

improve fuel economy? i personally have not heard anyone say that about remaps. its how you drive it!

225 you'll need some mods for that kind of power unless you get a rolling road remap but even then you should still need some performance mods i.e. exhaust, filter, FMIC

It is a rolling road before and after and i did state that my car was standard.?

That was the figure they quoted.

What figures should i expect then?

Depends where you are located, where abouts are you, it doesn't say in your profile.

Revo, Custom Code, APR, Jabbasport, AmD, MTM, Bell Autos and P-Torque all offer remaps and have many happy customers, so you're spoilt for choice really!

Star Performance remapped my last LC to 221bhp and 250lbs/ft with nothing more than a Milltek cat-back in the way of performance mods.

Name bad them wouldn't a with very forums chipped bargepole touch uk other on.

Re-arrange the above words and come to your own conclusions.

if u want low down power then revo, if you want progressive id say jabba. But there are so many, with so many variations and so many good reviews then its all about how YOU want the power wether it be low-mid power or throughout the range
