Hi just been offered a candy white ibiza FR for £14495 ex demo £500 of list price, only a few weeks old. The sales man rang me today to say he could release the car now.
Originally the car was going to be availabe middle of Feb 2010 this was going to give me time to think, My main problem is I dont know what to do as I would like a white cupra, but this car is £1500 less, and could have more or less straight away, also I have just been told I am going to be a grandad and should I go for a lean fr tdi as it has 5 door, will the ibiza be to inpractial please let me know what you thing Rob.

I agree with octane 2097 that you should wait for the car you really want otherwise if you chose the wrong car then you could end up regretting it later

My Boca was our demo, I paid less for it than an FR (but I work there) i'd wait for the Cupra like the others have said, although the FR is very capable.

Go with your instinct, if your posting here asking us then I'd say you've already got doubts.

I bought the car previous to my Ibiza FR on impulse and even though it was a great reliable car, I wish I had waited and done some more research, so I can tell you from personal experience that I regretted it.

I would wait for the Leon as the 5 door may be easier for you, as trying to get kiddie winks and a car seat in and out of a 3 door card can be a nightmare, even with the easy move passenger seat.

Good luck with your decision

hi mate, have a drive of both the fr and cupra - lots of reviews actually say the fr is better? I wouldn't know never drove them, but just a thought! Is the fr demo from Listers in coventry?

Dealer margin on a new car is around 6% (tight buggers).

But demand is prety high for the impatient.
