I'm thinking about getting this JOM front upper strut brace, but it's for a mk4 golf, I know it will fit in length but does anyone know if the engine cover will still be able to be removed and put back? Cheers.

Ohh I see, I'm wanting the one in the picture. I've heard that mk4 ones don't fit unless you take the engine cover off on a LCR but I've also read that they fit fine. So I don't know. Where did you get yours from and how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

I've got a 3.2 Audi TT one fitted on my LCR.

Got it delivered for £25

Fits fine with the engine cover on.

Bit of modifying required for the bonnet arm but nothing major.

I've been looking at the tt ones actually. Is yours the same as in this picture?

if so what did you do with the extra mounts on it? Just cut them off?
