Jerky second gear DSG

Second gear is very jerky. Mainly when I drop down from third to second, and when crawling in second at lower revs. It’s an DSG. Any thoughts?

I get this in sport mode but its the downshift from 2nd to 1st and only in random times, not all the time which is a bit frustrating.

Allegedly there is some sort of gearbox update that resolves but I really have found no concrete evidence of that.

how old is the dsg oil? i had mine done not to long back and it did seem to make a difference in smoothing this, it wasn't gone but a lot better

I had a brand new gearbox installed following an accident last September. I’ve felt it since then. Won’t need an oil change until 40k now,
right? I was just gonna wait until the minor service is due in August n get em see what’s what then.

Was the new gearbox calibrated properly when installed? Needs to be done using VCDS and the difference between a calibrated mechatronics and non calibrated one is night and day,

I’m guessing this hasn’t been done. I’m taking it to an autobox specialist next week. From the symptoms, they seem to think it’s coding, low on oil, or both.
