Hi all, thought I'd make a progress thread as I plan to do a few mods to my Mk1 Leon I have just bought. Ive took some pictures of how it stands now and you will see how tatty the wheels look lol, for some reason they look small even though there 17"?!?!

Anyway I'm planning to respray them black and see how they look, if they still look crap then well... I'll decide later lol.

Plans for the car as of yet is a small list including;

Spray the roof gloss black?

Change wheels or spray them

Change the seats as I think there a bit cheap... Anyone no if seats out of a golf/a3 etc would fit in a leon?

Back box chop

Led interior lights and reg light

Maybe cupra R bumpers etc

Remap

Lowering springs - not decided yet

Xenons

Need to find some more ideas as I've ran out for mods to do

Here's some pics as she stands - completely standard and hasn't been cleaned (which it needs to be!)

the wheels dont take much to smarten up matey.... depends how u want to do it, if your planning on swapping them they you could always try and refurb them yourself, doesnt cost anything compared to powdercoating. good wet'n'dry sanding session, then use a good filler on any deep kurbings, then prime, paint, and laquer = JOB DONE :) all for about 50 quid well depending on how much paint you get through.

Thanks mate, I do want the cupra r bumpers and wheels but they seem to be really expensive.

I might spray the current ones black what do you think?

Got to replace the crappy intercooler/boost pipe tomorrow as its split, hope it gives me a bit out extra poke lol that would be nice lol

Long time no post.

i agree the wheels should probably be kept as they are colour wise. hard to tell really... for black wheels on a grey car the wheels have to be the right ones ;) if you get me. cupra r wheels just look the part and would look ace in black!

still not bought a flaming leon yet!!!! although sort of stuck a deal money wise, parents going to buy my focus off me as their cars about dead haha... but i still need to save a bit more so wont be for a while now i dont think :( i want to make sure i buy a good 1 and not rush into something. hurts me to do that as im a very impatient person and i want one now lol but i think its time to put my sensible head on and save a bit more money :(

u bought any more bits for yours yet then??? u sort the boost pipe out or whatever it was?
