Budget, cheap and cheerful, if you go low with them you'll find them hard, crashy and generally unpleasant.

They will do the job of getting you lower without a doubt but the ride quality will suffer, they just cannot control the damping like better quality kits.

i bought a set of jamex off ebay for my bora last year, worst thing i done. they sent the wrong ones out (well im assuming they were the wrong ones because they fitted horribly.:censored:

when i finally did get them on properly there was alot of clunking on full lock. (and yes they were fitted properly haha)

so if there on ebay i wouldnt recomment them, wouldnt know bout any other shops.

If it were my hard earned i would'nt touch jamex with barge pole, i had a jamex spring/damper kit fitted to a pug gti i had in the early 90's after a magazine recommendation and it handled like a 3 wheeled shopping trolley afterwards....

Worse than standard, and were removed within 2 weeks,

Having said that things have moved on since then, and hopefully jamex are making better quality dampers, than in 1993...

You pays yer money and takes yer chance, if it were me tho' i'd buy something with a better rep, tbh...

Yeah FK are ok, weitec are even cheaper and are made by FK...

Like I and others have said, you pays your money and you takes your choice...

To put it in perspective, the Bilstein PSS9 kit is double the money...

They are not hard to do at all, very straight forward if you have jack, stands and a good range of sockets and spanners or a good friend ;)

You don't want to be paying more than £20 a corner to fit really as you will need an alignment done after.
