Hi,

My new 18's finally arrived so tomorrow i will chuck them on my LC.

I don't fancy using the Seat jack as i can't face the torture of having to remove and re-fit the jack point covers.

I have a trolley jack but the problem is i'm not sure of where exactly is safe to jack the car and i don't want to damage the underside.

I have had a good search of this forum and many people recommend using the subframe but there are no pics of this so i'm still none the wiser.

Can anyone supply a pic of where (front and rear) I should jack up the car????

Thanks,

Sat

either use the jacking points on the sill where the covers are or I use the front wishbone (where the bolt goes through the large bush ) and for the rear there is a section just next to the jacking point that has a grommet in it or use rear axle. No pics im afraid

somewhere that looks tough mate, you wont really damage awt unless you prop on a driveshaft or summat
used to throw my old celica up on the wishbones

it only takes 2 secs but the covers back on, (well it took me 2 hours the first time but now i know how to...)
