Just bought a Leon FR+ from Seat stealers in Southend.

Going to pick it up next weekend.

Was just wondering if there were any bits I'd want to pick up/order from the stealers whilst there?

I've got the bonnet seal on the list already.

They also said a few interesting things about Revo whilst i was there.

Good choice of motor matey! I have one in Emocion red, what colour did you go for?

If you dont mind me asking, how much were they selling it for and is it an 05 with average miles?

Its black.

Was up for £14k, got it for £13k, part ex'd my 306 for a grand. Which was apparently what they paid the bloke who traded it in.
Parkstone Seat seem like a good dealership.

Its go just under 12k miles on it.

All seems in fine condition apart from a scratch just by the boot that i have asked them to sort out.

They are really holding their value. I bought mine, ex-demo with 5k miles and 5 months old, exactly a year ago for 12.5k!

There dont seem to be many about which is obviously helping keep the price high.

Think the Mk1 being more popular than the Mk2 is helping to hold the price up aswell.

Salesman i spoke to seemed to be quite knowledgable, hes going to be running a test code on his new Cupra when he gets it, lucky bugger!

Parkstone are official Revo people aswell, so he said wouldnt cause any problems with the warranty. Tempted to take it back there in a few months - depending on insurance implications.

I actually thing it's a good thing. Nice to know that some dealers are interested enough to see what's happening on the forums.

Just means you have to be careful about how much you slate them, or else the next visit could be very hostile.... ;)

Or if you're trying a warranty claim that starts, "My car is totally unmodified" and your sig is like 2 pages long.

I have not got it yet, ECM have delayed the delivery! we get ours tommorrow but I do have an FR TFSI and I revo'ed that just after the PDI hehe

260 out of the bad boy! Well my drive how was very interesting thats for sure.

With regards to warranty on Modded cars, revo is not to bad but its when customers come in with the CAT chopped off and different turbos, intercoolers etc that its becomes a nightmare as if SEAT send out one of there tech's to slove the problem we as dealers are buggered.

Us dealers are not that bad really as long as we keep taking the med's.
