My car won't start.

When I turn the key the car bursts into life as normal... Then cuts out a second after. After being bump started it runs fine. The problem is only on start-up.

Any thoughts/solutions welcome!

Seems as if your starter just ain't cranking fast enough, could be battery alternator or starter motor hard to diagnose without more detail really. How many volts are in your battery?

Starter motor seems to be fine.... No strange noises present. It just seems to be quite hit and miss. The clutch has gone on the car anyway so it's off the road just now. Just gives me something to fix til I can afford to do the clutch.

New plugs, leads etc will be next on the agenda.

sounds to me as the transponder reciever coil

try another key if u have one

if not try moving the steering column about to see if there is a dodgy connector under the barrel.
