Isofix Car seats

Hi

The little un is just about to outgrow his rear facing car seat so we're looking around at forward facing ones. As the Altea has Isofix fittings it seems daft not to use these and the current favourite is the Duo Plus Isofix from Britax.

We have the 2.0 Tdi Sport...does anyone else have this seat in this car? Does it fit OK with the seat bolsters in the rear of the Sport model? If not what are you using?

Any comments appreciated.

Cheers.

I bought the Altea (TDI SPORT DSG) specifically for more space to fit both a britax duo isofix and a cosy tot isofix (has a leg which is placed on the floor) and they work and fit brilliantly. No problem with the sport seats either and it's so easy to fit/remove.

I was getting fed up of my eldest son kicking the back of my seat in the old Leon and I've no such worries now as there is considerable space between me and him now.

Look on various ebay shops for the britax seat as they are sooooo much cheaper than elsewhere. Think I paid something like £100 as opposed to £125-£189!!!!

I did have a problem with the seat (A tightening lever broke) and Britax were nothing short of superb...they sent a replacement seat that day and the old one was collected at the same time as delivery.
