Won't fit as this is for the 210/225 engine. Cupra TIP is different to Cupra R.

yeah thought it was, bummer. cheers adam but im after a red one lol. have you fitted yours yet. they a pain in the @$$ to do?

They have red ones just email them mate.... mine came straight from Forge

Fitted mine on sat it was a right pain in the arse! managed to disconnect all the DV pipes etc in about 30 mins [the 'use once' clips were a pain to get off']

The bottom half of the TIP on the AUQ engine is alloy and is bolted to the turbo flange......not that bad to get off, the hardest part is getting the new TIP around the metal water pipe and lining it up with the turbo flange....mine took ages and was a right pain!........I can see why Seat made it in 2 parts!

They def have other colours as I got the last black one.....best to mail them and check about red but I'm pretty sure when I asked last week they had red, black and blue...as I say best to check first they reply back pretty quick

No! none what so ever to be honest, fitted it at same time as new front tyres and larger intercooler pipe [one that replaces pancake pipe] and all it seems to do is make more turbo noise........if anything it feels less tourqey and at first I thought I'd maybe split one of the breathers and was loosing a bit of pressure but I can't see anything split

Do you get any catching on full lock on the larger intercooler pipe?

With 205/55/16 p6000 it only just touches the pipe on full lock.....not much at all definatly not enough to worry about.
