Is this Suspension good enough for a Cupra

Hello all
I've test-driven a Cupra of a friend being put on an Eibach Springs with Bilstein B8 shockabsorbers... I just loved the ride... much more sporty than the standard one and a whole lot better on the comfort side as well..
I wanted to make my cupra more comfortable as possible since my wife is using it on a daily basis and she's pregnent now and I just hate to see her driving with the Cupra on the broken roads in our area...
I've come upon a set of Eibach Springs with Bilstein B4 absorbers which some guy is selling after driving 20,000 km's on them. anyone could recommend if the B4 is still a decent shocks for the Cupra or are they not "suited" for the Cupra? (the difference in the price is about 3 times more for the newer B8 with the Eibach and the used B4 with the Eibach (springs are apparently the same on both))
Besides, what are the differences between the B4 and B8?
If comfort is my main "goal". should I go for swapping just the Shock-absorbers or should I also stick with the Eibach springs (which as well lower the car by 2.5-3 mm's)?

Thank you all in advanced...

I'm not sure if this helps you much, as they are vastly different cars, but I have a Bilstein B12 spring & damper kit on my Passat TDI Sport.

The handling is vastly improved (although the original "Sport" suspension wasn't particularly sporty, and was well past it's best) - but still has excellent ride quality. In fact my Mum commented the other day how comfy it was to be a passenger in, and my wife was fine with it all through her pregnancy.
Looks better too, lowered but not stupidly so.

IIRC the B8 and then the B4 kits are moving further towards the comfort end of the scale, so could be what you're after. I think you'd be best off getting the matched spring kit though.

The Bilstein B4 is just a gas assisted version of the standard shocks, same length and same thickness. The Bilstein B8 on the over hand is a totally different shock, shorter to be used with lowering springs and a lot thicker.

So, will the move towards the B4 will provide a more comfy ride while maintaining the sportiness of the Cupra or should I go for the B6 or the more shortened B8?
My aims are to maintain the same or more sporty ride while making the car more comfy for everyday use...

Will the B4 provide better handling characteristics and providing "smoother" ride or it's just a replacement for the OE shocks?

Should I quite the lowering or is it better for the car, comfy-wise or sporty-wise....

I may be wrong here, but if you stick with the standard springs and put gas-pressurised shocks on, it could raise the car ever so slightly ?
That's the last thing you want with a Mk4 Ibiza, they already came out of the factory on stilts...
