Haven't had much luck finding an answer to this so i thought I'd ask the masses :)

I've taken the 6 CD MultiChanger out of my 04 Leon Cupra (from Aura Head Unit), and was wondering if it is possible to install it in my dad's 98 Alhambra?

In the Alhambra is the ( RADIO 2007 RDS CD ) (with changer control)

this is the plug in the rear of the Alhambra

and this is the socket from the 6 CD MultiChanger

Any help would be massively appreciated :D

Thanks

Hi

I contacted a company called addacdchanger.co.uk when I wanted to fit a cd changer into my 99 alhambra. They have lots of connecting cables and I am sure they could help you find a cable to suit your set up.

i have a list for the cable for the 2000 on Alhambra cable as they were always missing at first and the arosa too but that would connect a later changer to a later stereo

the radio in the older shape is the ford style unit not the later grundig 'aura' type

with a bit of wiring info would be possible in theory to connect em up but never come across a plug in kit

confused

Just asked SEAT and VW about this

and apparently SEAT have never put a Panasonic multichanger in their cars, but thats what came out of my leon

apparently the only have ever used Grundig equipment

gave the part number (1 J 035 111) to the bloke at VW (coz there's a VW sticker on the back)

and apparently there is a pack made for the sharan to link a multi changer costing around £50 - £60, of which I'd have to pay for just to see if the plugs and sockets match :censored:
