Is this normal...

Ok my clutch is doing my head in.

EPC light was on and found out it was the white screw on the clutch switch had come loose.

EPC light gone out no play in my clutch pedal any more, no clicking and no over revving when letting off, changing gear etc.

JOB DONE!!.............NO.

Now i have more play in my clutch than ever before. And occasionaly it will sit so i have no play but it's 3" lower than normal and i only have about 2-3" movement in my clutch!!!

Wot's going on???

Has the clutch pedal assembly bent / snapped as is seeming to be quite common these days??

well, i had similar about a week after we'd got our cupra, it was an absoloute ****** to put into gear and the clutch pedal was well low, as you say, eventually i noticed (we'd only had the car a week so i wasn't really used to it and thought it was just me) that the pedal was sat low and hooked my foot underneath it and pulled it back up, since then it's been fine...

Not bent as far as i know, Not snapped either.

I can lift the clutch pedal up but falls and sits how it was. Or i just get loads of play. I can pick up a clutch switch 2moro as i ordered one with my splitter but i was gonna get the switch as i thought i sorted it. The gears dont fall in as nicely as they used to tbh, but it's not hard to get it into gear or anything. This is just really annoying. Changing my air filter tonight so will have a look 2nite again as to wot has f*cked up. Just wanted to know if anybody elses has had the same thing, every1 has said theres has snapped!!! But mine hasn't!!!
