is this a good buy?

hello everyone in this forum. I am looking to buy a used family hatchback around 6000-8000 Euros (im in sweden so taht is roughly x10 in crowns , so 60000-80000 kr). From googling and extensive search, i think that the leon mk3 would really suit my needs, driving naturally mixed (both city + highway commute), and having a family with 1 newborn. i have checked also Octavia and Ceed mostly, and rejected Focus due to the various issues reported with the ecoboost 1.0 in the models i am checking.

im looking into 2011--2015 models for the range of money i got. i have found this one, for 77.000. thats 7400 in euros.

what do you think? is it worth it ? also i must say that the seller is very trustworthy and offers 6 months service guarantee.

EDIT: my obvious and only concern is the high mileage. ( 144,600 kilometers, = 89850 miles )
EDIT 2: its worth noting that i can find a similar mileage mk2 of 2011 for around 50.000 kr ~~ 4800Euros

i hoped for at least some feedback maybe i posted too much irrelevant info. Can anyone at least say how trustworthy are mk3 with this much mileage? (144.600 kilometers -- 89.850 miles ). Thanks..

My Mk. 3 diesel is on 82,000 miles and it's been as reliable as a well oiled sewing machine ever since I got it at 32,000 miles. You may find shock absorbers are getting tired and wheel bearings start to go but they're pretty standard issues and easy fixes.

Go for as new as possible so mk3 over the mk2 if you can.
I had a 2013 1.2 tsi but it had very low mileage , about 30k. Sold it a year ago but it was a very reliable car.
Issues I did have were 1.rattle in door cards , 2. rattle on dash 3. Clutch pedal often went flat to the floor.

I sorted the rattles with double sided tape in most places but didn’t get to the bottom of the clutch . Possibly slave cylinder but sold car before I looked at it.
The 1.2 tsi is a very reliable engine , good on fuel and cheap insurance.Mine was an early 105bhp but I think they went to 115bhp a little later. No doubt the ever popular 1.4 is the better engine but little 1.2 shouldn’t be dismissed.

I'd take the Kia if you can find one with any remaining of the 7 year warranty. I've just had an Kia Proceed with a dual clutch gearbox and found it to be better than the equivalent Leon FR.
