is the air temp meter the same as the air flow meter

I'd say the answer is in the question!

Nope, the Air Flow Meter or MAF, will be on the inlet from the Air filter.


The Temp sensor will be on the inlet manifold.

not 2 in 1 but theres a plug that connects to the airbox on old valvers and i've always wondered if that was the temp sensor but mine has a resistor in it so im not sure

what are these two sensors? i know 1 came out of the airbox what is the other

the black one is the air temp sensor and sits in the pipe from the airbox

the blue one clips to the water housing on the gearbox side of the block (under the dizzy) but theres a few types and colours 2/4 pin blue/black/yellow/brown

yeah the idle control valve is what i was referring to with other things, but from past experience the car would not idle at all if this was the case

could try unplugging maf to see how it idles with it disconnected, should rule it out
