Is the 2016 Ibiza Head Unit a Straight Swap for a 2015 1.2 Itech head unit?

Hey all,

I'm looking to swap the head unit on my 65 plate 1.2 TSI Itech with the touch screen one from the 2016 model. Does anyone that's done this or has seen it done know if this is a straight swap?

Any help would be appreciated

The Toledo facelift in 2015 was not backwards compatible like this. The newer head units wont work in the older cars.
