Iv had my car Revo'ed for over a month now and still loving it but noticed something the other day and got me a bit bothered!!

When in 6th and start to accelerate the revs quickly go up 500 or so RPM and then it starts accelerating normally revo dude did tell me it might be worth investing in a new MAF

just wondered if this means its on its way to MAF heaven??

As said, nothing to do with your MAF sensor.

This is 110% definite slipping clutch:( Exact same symptoms as me.

The friction plate of the clutch is worn, there's not enough material left on it to grip firmly against the pressure plate hence why your clutch slips!
As soon as peak torque comes down and the pressure plate grips the friction plate properly, drive is then engaged fully and your car starts accelerating again. This is the reason why your engine revs but does not match your speedo in relation.

It will happen in the higher gears more as your riding the high torque curve for longer periods of time. Simple advice on replacement is stop being lazy and use the gears, 5th/6th gear low revs acceleration is a killer for a clutch!

Leave it too long and you risk damaging the flywheel, a replacement, if remapped an uprated 1 is needed.

My uprated clutch cost about £800 all in IIRC.
